BAKERSFIELD, CALIF., February 5, 2015 - The Bakersfield Jam (20-10) fell to the Santa Cruz Warriors (17-11), 95-77, Thursday night at the Dignity Health Event Center.

The Jam got off to a slow start, shooting 41.7 percent from the floor and ended the opening period trailing 33-23. Both teams put up 21 points in the second quarter, keeping it a 10-point advantage for Santa Cruz at halftime (54-44).

Shooting struggles continued for Bakersfield in the second half as they made just 30 percent of their shots in the third quarter and went into the final frame with a 15-point deficit (73-58). The closest the Jam got in the fourth was within 14 points.

T.J. Warren, on assignment from the Phoenix Suns, led the Jam with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Joe Jackson (14) and Jamil Wilson (10) scored in double-figures off the bench. Mac Koshwal had a team-high eight rebounds and Tyler Ennis, also on assignment from the Suns, finished with a team-high six assists.

The Warriors were led by Dominique Sutton, who had a game-high 19 points off the bench to go along with eight rebounds and three steals. Mychel Thompson, Taylor Griffin and Golden State Warriors assignee Ognjen Kuzmic finished with 15 points apiece.

Bakersfield will host the Oklahoma City Blue tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. PT.
