Elmira, NY- Winners of their past three, the Elmira Jackals now find themselves in second place in the North Division standings. Starting last Sunday the Jackals knocked off the top seeded Wheeling Nailers 4-1, they then went to Dayton to upset the 4th place bombers 4-2 before ending the second place Cincinnati Cyclones six game win streak, 6-4. This Weekend, Friday and Saturday, the Jackals host the red hot Trenton Devils at First Arena, opening face-off is set for 7:35 p.m. both nights.

Playoff Hunt: Entering the series the 23-18-1-3 Jackals are in the middle of the North Division playoff chase as they sit in second place. The 21-16-1-2 sixth place Trenton Devils are winners eight of their past ten games and only have nine points separating them from the first place Wheeling Nailers.

Season Series: The Jackals were winners of the first four match ups of the season outscoring Trenton 11-7. The Devils have stole the past four games outscoring Elmira 13-6. Five of the first eight games have been played in Trenton, while this weekends match ups mark the fourth and fifth between the two clubs at First Arena.

Game Changers: Goaltending has been one of the biggest factors between these two teams so far this season. Most recently Trentons' Gerald Coleman turned aside 29 shots in the Devils January 23rd win over Elmira. Coleman has posted a league best 94% save percentage and impressive 1.63 goals against average. Elmira's Michael Teslak has a three game win streak alive where he has compiled a 0.915 save percentage and a 2.33 goals against average.

Who's Hot: The Jackals have kicked it up a notch on the scoring side of things. Benoit Doucet has netted seven goals and added five assists in his last nine games while Wes Cunningham has notched an assist in the past six games. Pierre-Luc Faubert has shined in his past 10 games racking up 14 points in the form of five goals and nine assists. The Devils scoring department is led by Eric Castonguay with 33 points. Trevor Kell has netted 28 points, followed by Prough and Henkels 27 tallies. Elmira's scoring power will strengthen on Saturday evening when Colton Yellow Horn joins the line up.

NEXT UP: After this weekends doubleheader the Jackals will be back in action next Friday when they host Johnstown at 7:35 p.m. On Saturday the Jackals travel to Wheeling for a 7:35 p.m. start before returning home for a 4:05 p.m. match up with Trenton on Sunday.
