Aces and GCI award fifth annual 100k fan through the door

For the fifth year in a row, the Alaska Aces and GCI will be giving away a special prize to the 100,000th Aces fan. The 100,000th fan through the door will receive 50,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Miles, courtesy of GCI in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Statehood.

Attendance since Wednesday's game against Ontario leaves the Aces at 3,719 shy of the 100,00 goal. With attendance currently standing at 96,281, that fan should walk thru the door on Friday, January 30th.

Along with the 50,000 miles, the 100,000th fan will also receive an Aces Alaska Statehood Jersey commemorating the event. In 2008, the 100,000 mark was hit on Sunday, January 27th and 3-year season ticket holder Mark Jefson was awarded his prize from GCI on ice.

In order to win, you must be the 100,000th ticketed person through the door. The Aces play Ontario on Friday January 30th, Saturday, January 31st with game at 7:15pm. Saturday night the Aces celebrate the Alaska's 50th Anniversary of Statehood with a ceremonial puck drop, Alaska Native Heritage Dancers and the Statehood jerseys worn by the players and auctioned off after the game.
