
Bowers Earns Second Promotion of Season

Dayton, OH- Justin Bowers, the Dayton Bombers leading rookie scorer, has been loaned to the Lake Erie Monsters, the "AAA" affiliate of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche, head coach Bill McDonald announced today.
This is the second call-up of the season for Bowers, who spent two weeks with the Monsters earlier in the month, where he tallied a goal and an assist.
Bowers ranks third on the Bombers roster in scoring with 36 points (12g,24a) this season. He has 21 PIM and a team high +12 rating. The Halifax, Nova Scotia native most recently had a goal in Tuesday night's game against Elmira. He was also selected to the 2009 ECHL All-Star team, although he did not participate due to his first call-up.
The Cincinnati Cyclones visit the Nutter Center for back-to-back games on Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31 at 7:30 p.m. Stick around after the game on Saturday for the live, game-worn White Jersey Auction on the Flight Deck.
