Complete Game Notes

IN JUST A FEW HOURS...

The Elmira Jackals try to even their best-of-five, opening-round series against the Greenville Road Warriors when the teams meet for Game 2 at 7:05 p.m. at First Arena. The Road Warriors scored three power-play goals on their way to a 5-2 victory in Game 1 last night over the Jackals.

DONATI, LAMPE, TIFU REUNITE

In their first game together since Mar. 2, Justin Donati, Eric Lampe, and Yannick Tifu collaborated for Elmira's first goal. Early in the second period, Lampe spun around on the end boards to feed a wide-open Donati in front of the net, and Donati knocked the puck into the cage to give Elmira its first goal of the 2011 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Tifu had the second assist on Donati's third-career playoff tally.

BRITTAIN THREADS IN FIRST GOAL

Josh Brittain took a pass from Dale Mahovsky in the third period last night and snapped a puck past Road Warriors netminder Nic Riopel for his first pro playoff goal. The rookie from Milton, Ontario scored two postseason goals in his career in the OHL.
