IN JUST A FEW HOURS...

The Elmira Jackals will try to win their third game of the weekend and improve to 6-0 this season against the Johnstown Chiefs on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. at First Arena.

Last night, the Jackals scored two late goals to down the Reading Royals 3-2 and increase their East Division lead to nine points. The win was the 11th in the last 13 games for the Jackals.

Tyler Donati's go-ahead goal with 3:03 left in the third period last night was the latest the Jackals have taken the lead and won in regulation this season.

SUCCESSFUL STREAK

With the goal last night, Tyler Donati extended his scoring streak to 13 games. In those 13 games the Jackals have been on fire. They entered the first game eight points back of the Royals for the top spot in the East Division and one game over.500. The Jackals have been victorious in 11 of the 13 games, however, to take command in the division, and have taken points in 12 of the 13 games.

Tyler Donati's current eight-game goal scoring streak is the longest in the ECHL this season.

FUN FEBRUARY So far this month, the Jackals are 7-1-0-0, with three wins at home and four on the road.
