Albuquerque Isotopes News Release
Albuquerque will host its second homestand of the season beginning Thursday, welcoming the Iowa Cubs to town for a four-game series. Each day of the homestand will feature a different promotion. Thursday night, the Isotopes will hold the first of two 50¢ hot dog nights. Last season, the Isotopes welcomed over 11,000 fans to the park and served more than 35,000 hot dogs. Friday night features the return of the popular Myron Noodleman. The zany, hip comedian will perform his popular skits throughout the contest. On Saturday, the Isotopes will hold their Cinco de Mayo festivities. This will include performances by Mariachi Tierra Encantada and a post-game tortilla giveaway. The homestand concludes on Sunday with a 1:35 contest. The first 2,000 adults will receive seat cushions, courtesy of Cimarron Health Plan. Sunday is also Little League Day at Isotopes Park, with a pre-game banner parade featuring over 30 Little League teams showcasing their banner designs. Prizes will be awarded to the top banners. For tickets, call the Isotopes Box Office at 924-2255.
