AT THE DISH: Isotopes right fielder Connor Joe got the scoring started, connecting on his eighth home run and 21st RBI in 20 games with Albuquerque in 2021 ... Shortstop Scott Burcham finished the game 2-for-3, registering his first career Triple-A home run.
TOEING THE RUBBER: Albuquerque starter José Mujica started the ballgame and allowed one run over his 3.0 innings on the mound ... Ian Clarkin (1-5, 8.24) relieved Mujica, tossing 3.0 scoreless frames and earning his first win with the Isotopes ... Chris Rusin, Antonio Santos and Logan Cozart combined for three innings to close out the game without allowing an earned run.
TOPES TIDBITS: The Isotopes have won five games in a row and are now 9-2 during the month of July.
ON DECK: After a league-wide off day on Wednesday, the Isotopes return to the Land of Enchantment to open a six-game series with the Sugar Land Skeeters (Triple-A Astros) when Ryan Castellani (1-6, 8.01) gets the nod. First pitch on Thursday is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
