Isotopes, Beavers Suspended Due To Rain

With no score in the bottom half of the fourth inning, the Albuquerque Isotopes and Portland Beavers series opener at Isotopes Park was suspended Tuesday night due to rain. The game will be picked up where it left off at 4:30 PM Wednesday and will be followed by a seven-inning, regularly scheduled contest.

Tuesday's contest will be resumed where it left off, with a runner on third for Albuquerque and Valentino Pascucci at the plate in the bottom half of the fourth inning. There is no score in the game. Gates will open at 3:30 PM.

Following the completion of Tuesday's game, there will be a 30 minute break. Then, the regularly-scheduled game will begin and will last seven innings.

The Isotopes Park Rain Check Policy will be in effect for Tuesday's game. Any ticket from the suspended game may be exchanged at the Isotopes Park Box Office for any 2007 regular season, non-restricted home game.

In the regularly scheduled game on Wednesday night, right-hander Nic Ungs (1-1, 5.40) gets the nod for the 'Topes, and the Beavers send righty Jared Wells (1-4, 5.46).

Wednesday is the first of three Orbit's Kids Crew nights.
