Albuquerque Isotopes News Release

Tonight's game between the Albuquerque Isotopes and El Paso Chihuahuas has been suspended in the bottom of the first inning due to unplayable field conditions.

The game will be resumed tomorrow at 3:00 p.m., and it will be a nine-inning contest. Gates will open at 2:00 p.m. Tomorrow's regularly scheduled game will begin approximately 30 minutes following the first game and will be a seven-inning contest. Tomorrow is the final time the Isotopes and Chihuahuas play each other this season and marks the end of this eight-game homestand.

When tonight's game was suspended, the Isotopes were batting in the bottom of the first inning with two outs. El Paso scored three unearned runs in the top of the first inning. In the homehalf of the inning, Joc Pederson tripled and Jamie Romak to cut the deficit to 3-2 with his 16th home run of the season. Brock Peterson was at the plate with a 0-1 count when the umpires called for the tarp.

Thursday's tickets are valid for both games.

Any ticket from tonight's game may be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value, subject to seating availability, to any remaining regular season home game under the Isotopes' Rain Check Policy rules. Exchanges are accepted exclusively at the Isotopes Park box office. The Isotopes' Rain Check Policy is clearly stated on the back of each ticket and on the Isotopes website.
