Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look to snap a three-game skid when they open a three-game set with the Norfolk Tides on Monday afternoon. First pitch from Coca-Cola Park is slated for 1:35 p.m.

RHP David Buchanan (2-3, 4.44) gets the ball for the Pigs on Monday afternoon. The right-hander was dealt the loss on Wednesday at Pawtucket when he gave up six runs (five earned) on six hits while walking two and fanning two in five innings of work. Buchanan will be making the first start of his career against the Tides.

LHP Andy Oliver (0-0, 1.14) will be on the bump for manager Ron Johnson's squad in the series opener. Oliver got a no-decision on Tuesday vs. Gwinnett after allowing one run on three hits to go along with a walk and four strikeouts in 5.0 IP. The southpaw has allowed one earned run in 11.0 IP over his 3 GS this season.

Pigs OF Cam Perkins has hit safely in 10 of his last 13 games after notching a pair of hits including his first career grand slam on Sunday. In that time, Perkins is hitting .333-3-9 (14-42, 2 2B, 6 R, 2 SB).
