The IronPigs (63-53) play Game Three of a four-game series against the (tied for) first-place Pawtucket Red Sox (63-52) at McCoy Stadium... With a 7-3 win last night, the Pigs have now won four of their last five games overall and five of their last six contests against Pawtucket. Still, the Pigs have gone just 13-18 in their last 31 games --- going from a season-high 3.0-games up to 0.5-games back in the North... The Red Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- remain 12-8 in their last 20 affairs -- bouncing back from a 14-21 span from June 18 through July 14 (including a nine-game skid June 18-26).

LHP Tom Cochran (6-4, 4.63) will start for LHV against Boston's rehabbing RHP Daisuke Matsuzaka (0-2, 3.23).

First-pitch today is at 1:05 p.m.

WITH A WIN TODAY, THE PIGS WILL...:

* With an SWB loss, reclaim sole possession of 1st place in the North Division for the first time since 7/19.

* Win back-to-back road games for the first time since 6/20-6/21 @ TOL -- in a span of 42 G (23 games on the road).

* Clinch at least a tie of this road series and win the 2012 season-series -- which would mark the 3rd time in 5 seasons against PAW.
