Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The IronPigs (50-36) play Game One of a two-game "road" series* against the third-place Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees (47-40) at Coca-Cola Park (*which follows a three-game home series with SWB which the Pigs won, 2-1)... With an 8-5 loss last night, the Pigs snapped their four-game winning streak but still finished 7-3 on the homestand. Over a longer stretch, the Pigs have gone 18-10 in their last 28 games to go from 4.5-games out to 2.0-games up in the North... The Yankees -- New York's top affiliate -- snapped a three-game losing steak are now 6-3 in their last nine contests. Still, since June 18, they've gone just 7-10 overall.

LHP Pat Misch (5-10, 4.90) will start for LHV against RHP Adam Warren (5-5, 3.86).

Tonight's game features another post-game fireworks show, presented by Luther Crest... First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m...

MI COCA SU COCA...:

SWB will be the "home" team the next 2 games at Coca-Cola Park... Even though they lack a true home field in 2012, the Yankees have gone 28-18 at "home" this season... This includes a 3-1 record at Coca-Cola Park this season (April 26-29). All-time, SWB is 4-2 as the home team at CCP (SWB "hosted" for 2 games 7/9/09-7/10/09 due to field conditions and went 1-1)...

* Oddly, SWB was just 34-38 at home and 39-31 on the road last season.
