Gwinnett Stripers News Release
The game started originally at Coolray Field on Tuesday, July 3 and lasted just an inning and a half before rain postponed it. The game continued on Thursday, July 5 in Fort Mill, SC at Knights' Stadium with the G-Braves reassuming the role of home team. The two teams will play a seven-inning contest that will begin approximately 30 minutes after the first game.
Gwinnett will start right-hander Buddy Carlyle (4-2, 2.25), while the Knights counter with left-hander Scott Olsen (0-0, 4.50). The broadcast of both games with Tony Schiavone will air on WDUN 550 AM / 102.9 FM and WDUN.com.
