Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
After a rain out on Tuesday and a day off on Wednesday, the IronPigs (37-27) play Game One of a four-game series against the last-place Durham Bulls (28-39) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 4-1 win on Monday, the Pigs wound up taking the rain-shortened series at Syracuse, 2-1. In addition, the Pigs have won six of their last seven games and have gone 9-3 in their last 12 contests... The Bulls -- Tampa's top affiliate -- last lost 8-3 on Tuesday to split a home series against Toledo. Despite going just 3-7 in its last 10 games, Durham had previously gone 19-14 after a miserable 6-18 start through April 29.
RHP Scott Elarton (5-2, 3.36) will start for LHV against RHP Chris Archer (3-8, 5.04).
Tonight's game is Military Style IronPigs Cap Giveaway Night, presented by Air Products. First-Pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.

Tonight marks the return of Durham OF Rich Thompson, who was traded to Tampa for OF Kyle Hudson, 5/16... Thompson hit .273-16-150 in parts of 5 seasons in LHV and is the Pigs all-time leader in G (469), hits (452), R (244), 2B (83), 3B (26) and SB (134).
