Charlotte Knights News Release
(Fort Mill, SC) - Take away the fourth inning on Thursday and the first place Knights would have been looking at their third-straight win. Instead, the first place Indians came to Knights Stadium on Thursday and grabbed a win after a key inning.
Indianapolis scored five runs in the top of the fourth inning, starter Jeff Locke (5-3, 3.27) allowed two runs over 5.2 innings, and the Indians took game one of the four-game series with the Charlotte Knights with a 5-3 victory from Knights Stadium in Fort Mill, SC on Thursday.
