TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons host the Pawtucket Red Sox in the first of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The Herd split a four-game series with the Tides to begin this homestand. The Bisons are 19-13 at Coca-Cola Field this season.

vs. RED SOX: The Bisons are 2-2 against the Red Sox this season as they split a pair of two-games sets, including April 14-15 at Coca-Cola Field. Buffalo and Pawtucket have not played each other in almost two months. The Herd has not won a season series from Pawtucket since 2008 but are 115-112 (.507) against the Red Sox since returning to the International League in 1998.

HARVEY: RHP MATT HARVEY takes the mound for his team-high 14th start of the season. The righty is coming off his first loss since his Triple-A debut on April 5 in Pawtucket. He allowed three runs in four innings last Friday in Columbus. Harvey leads the Bisons with 64 strikeouts, 8th-most in the IL.

MR. JT: INF JUSTIN TURNER joins the Bisons today on an MLB injury rehab assignment. The Mets placed Turner on the DL on May 29 with a sprained right ankle. He hit .269 (18-67) with five doubles and 10RBI in 33 games with New York this season. Turner played 88 games with the Bisons from 2010-2011 and has a career .330 average with Buffalo.

UPPER DEKKER: OF MATT DEN DEKKER made his Triple-A debut on Tuesday night against the Tides. The Mets' 5th round pick in 2010 went 1-4 with a run scored, a double and a walk. The outfielder hit .340 with eight home runs and 29RBI in 58 games with Binghamton and led the Eastern League in batting average (.340), hits (81) and runs (47) before his promotion.

THE CLOSER: RHP FERNANDO CABRERA has 15 saves on the season, three more than any other pitcher in the International League. Cabrera is a perfect 15 for 15 converting saves. In save situations, the righty has posted a 1.08ERA with 18 strikeouts in 16.2IP of work.

BISONS BITS: RHP PEDRO BEATO struck out three batters in 1.2IP on Tuesday to extend his scoreless streak to 12.1IP over seven games...LHP JUSTIN HAMPSON is tied for second in the IL with six holds this season.

METS UPDATE : The Mets (34-29) defeated the Rays, 9-1, last night. RHP R.A. DICKEY became Major League Baseball's first 10-game winner this season with a complete-game one-hitter. He struck out 12 and lowered his season ERA to 2.20. The Mets and Rays had a 1:10 p.m. first pitch this afternoon from Tampa Bay.
