Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The first-place IronPigs (19-14) play the finale of a four-game series against the third-place Toledo Mud Hens (15-19) at Fifth-Third Field. With an 8-1 win last night, the Pigs have won three games in a row, nine of their last 12, and, over a longer span, are 12-6 in their last 18 contests. Lehigh Valley improved to 5-2 on this eight-game, West Division road trip... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- are just 1-6 on their homestand and have gone just 2-8 in their last 10 affairs following a season-high, seven-game win streak 4/25-5/1...
RHP Eddie Bonine (3-3, 3.15) will start for LHV against LHP Charlie Furbush (2-2, 3.55).
First-pitch tonight is at 6:30 p.m... The Pigs will return home for a four-game series against the Norfolk Tides beginning tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m.

With SWB losing last night, the Pigs moved into sole possession of first place in the North Division for the third time in LHV history (the 3rd time this season)... The Pigs experienced sole possession for the first time in four seasons on 4/17/11.
