TODAY'S GAME:

This afternoon, the Bisons host the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees in the final game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (1:05 p.m.). The Herd is looking for the series win after back-to-back victories over the Yankees. The Bisons are currently 4-3 on their homestand that ends today. On Friday, the Herd opens an eight-game roadtrip in Louisville.

VS. YANKEES:

The Bisons are 3-3 against the Yankees this season. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre took two of three from the Herd from April 13-15 at PNC Field. The Herd can earn the series victory with another win this afternoon. It would be the Bisons first series win of the season.

TODAY'S STARTER:

RHP JOSH STINSON will make his third appearance at Coca-Cola Field this season. His previous two home outings were his best two outings of the season. On April 22, Stinson defeated Lehigh Valley with five innings of one-run ball. Last Saturday, the righty was the hard-luck loser after allowing just two runs in five frames. Together, Stinson is 1-1 with a 2.70ERA in his two starts at home this season.

LUIS, LUIS:

INF LUIS HERNANDEZ brings an eight-game hit streak into action this afternoon. The infielder has averaged .357 (10-28) with a pair of doubles and five runs scored since May 3. It's the second-longest streak for a Bison this season behind OF KIRK NIEUWENHUIS'S league-best 16 game stretch. Hernandez has hit in 12 straight home games dating back to April 21 (.356, 16-45) -the longest active streak in the International League.

RUN PRODUCER:

INF VALENTINO PASCUCCI backed up his six-RBI performance on Tuesday night with two more runs driven in last night. Pascucci had an RBI-single and a bases-loaded walk. For the season, the slugger is hitting .350 (7-20) with runners in scoring position.

BISONS BITS:

LHP JUSTIN HAMPSON has retired the first batter he has fast in 11 of his 12 appearances (91% success rate)...INF RUBEN TEJADA has six multi-hit performances in his last nine games. He leads the Herd with 13 multi-hit games on the year...Herd pitchers have struck out 64 batters in the seven games this homestand (9.4 strikeouts/game).

METS UPDATE :

The Mets (16-20) and Rockies will make up their Wednesday rainout this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. from Coors Field. Last night, Mets RHP BOBBY PARNELL made a MLB injury rehab appearance with the Bisons and struck out OF Justin Maxwell on three pitches. Parnell is 0-1 with a 6.14ERA in 8 games with New York.
