Iowa Energy forward DJ Stephens had a game-high 24 points to lead the Energy to a 104-77 win over Raptors 905 Saturday night at Hershey Centre in Mississauga.

Eight minutes into the first quarter, Iowa led 20-12, but a 10-2 Raptors 905 run in the final four minutes of the period had the game tied heading into the second quarter. The second frame saw four lead changes and four times tied, with Iowa pulling ahead late to hold a 51-46 advantage at halftime.

In the third quarter, Raptors 905 recorded just nine points - a season low for points in a quarter for the club - and trailed 76-55 going into the final period. Iowa kept up its third-quarter momentum in the fourth, extending the lead to as many as 33 points en route to the victory.

Leading Iowa in points were DJ Stephens (24), Patrick Christopher (19), Andrew Harrison (16), Mardracus Wade (15) and James Ennis (11). Stephens completed the game's only double-double with a game-high 12 rebounds. Scoring in double digits for Raptors 905 were Shannon Scott (20), Scott Suggs (15), Davion Berry (10) and Michale Kyser (10).

Iowa led Raptors 905 in field goal percentage (49.4-41.1), three point percentage (31.0-28.1), free throw percentage (88.2-53.3), points in the paint (50-34), second-chance points (13-9) and fast-break points (14-9).

Raptors 905 is back in action Monday, March 14 when it plays host to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at Air Canada Centre in Toronto at 12 p.m.
