Mississauga, Ontario - The Iowa Energy (19-23) won 104-77 over the Raptors 905 (16-26) Saturday night at the Hershey Centre.

The Energy were led by D.J. Stephens with a game-high 24 points and 12 rebounds. Patrick Christopher added 19 points, six rebounds and three assists and Andrew Harrison added 16 points and seven assists. The Raptors 905 were led by Shannon Scott with 20 points, six rebounds and eight assists.

It was a close start for the opening minutes of game. The Energy then began to pull away behind six points from James Ennis as they built an eight-point lead over the 905. The Raptors finished the first quarter on an 11-2 run to tie it up 22-22 heading into the second quarter. D.J. Stephens provided the Energy a nice spark on offense, scoring 11 points in the second quarter. The Energy were able to re-build their lead to six points. Iowa shot 46 percent in the first half to hold a 51-46 advantage at halftime.

The Energy took advantage of a slow start by the Raptors 905 in the second half. Iowa was able to open up a 16-point lead mid-way through the third. The Energy continued to shoot the ball well and extended their lead to 21 points. Iowa outscored the Raptors 25-9 in the third to hold an 86-55 advantage heading into the fourth. The Energy continued to control the game in the fourth. Christopher and Harrison added eight points each as the Energy cruised to a 104-77 victory to split the weekend series against the Raptors 905.

The Energy continue on a four game road trip with a stop in Erie on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Iowa is back home March 21 at 7 p.m.
