
Iowa Torches Northern Arizona in First Road Win of Season

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves (3-4) posted a season-high points total in a 132-107 victory over the Northern Arizona Suns (2-4) at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Tuesday evening.
The Wolves also shot a season-best 57.1% from the field in the team's 25-point victory and first road win of the season.
Seven players finished in double figures for Iowa, led by Minnesota Timberwolves assignees Naz Reid and Jaylen Nowell.
Reid scored a game-high 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field. The forward also tallied five rebounds and six assists in the win.
Nowell added 21 points while shooting 8-of-11 from the floor. The duo combined to make 68.0% of their attempts on the evening.
Tyus Battle reached a new season-high tonight for Iowa, chipping in with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting.
As a team the Wolves converted 16-of-33 (48.5%) of their three-point attempts while limiting their opponent to shoot just 43.8% from the floor.
Nineteen-year-old Jalen Lecque was a force for Northern Arizona, tying a season-high with 25 points for the Suns.
Iowa continues its three-game road trip with a Friday evening contest against the Santa Cruz Warriors (4-4) at 9:00 p.m. CT.
