January 11, 2008 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs of the Central Hockey League are happy to introduce the new mudbugshockey.com. The new website features a sleek new look and many new features.
You'll find a number of new features at the revamped Mudbugs website to help you keep tabs on what's happening with your team. On the mudbugshockey.com home page, you will see an improved " Game Center " with information on our next game, score of our last game, and a listing of our next three home contests for your convenience. Standings for the Northeast Division are now right on the home page for you to see how your Mudbugs are doing as well. Also on the home page, you'll see a schedule of our upcoming promotions and links to buy tickets, merchandise or listen live to Mudbugs games. Our new "Face of the Nation" section is on the home page as well. It's your chance to have your own picture and bio listed on the Mudbugs website. To be a "Face of the Nation", email a picture of yourself at a Mudbugs event or in team apparel with your name and bio information to website@mudbugshockey.com.
There are many other pages with new content throughout the site as well. We've added new statistics pages that link right to Pointstreak.com for all the latest Mudbugs and CHL scores and stats. Now there is a new on-air schedule page so you know exactly when and where to tune in to Mudbugs games and Coaches shows on AM 1130 KWKH and Newsradio 710 AM KEEL. Check out the listing of our 2007-08 group ticket incentives under the Tickets tab to organize a group outing to a Mudbugs game. On our new left side navigation, you will also find new pages specifically to let you know about our community involvement, upcoming promotions and team partners. Keep an eye on the multimedia pages to view new and updated video and audio clips from Mudbugs games, screensavers and wallpapers, and a link to watch the 'Bugs live online through the CHL Network. In our fan zone, find out information on Lil' Bugger's Kids Club (which your child will be able to sign up for very soon), birthday parties at the games, and how to get all the most updated Mudbugs information through our email news updates.
Don't forget to check back often to find out how the Mudbugs are doing on their season-high seven game road trip. The trip starts with weekend games at Rio Grande Valley and Laredo, followed by a three-game set in Youngstown at the end of next week. Friday night, the 'Bugs take on the Killer Bees at 7:35, with our pre-game show getting underway at 7:15 on AM 1130 KWKH. You can also watch the game live online through the CHL Network.
