Hounds lose 3-2 in Franck's return

SOUTHAVEN, MISSISSIPPI - The Youngstown SteelHounds road woes continue as they fall to the Mississippi RiverKings by a score of 3-2. They have now lost five straight road games to drop to 20-10-2 (42 points) overall and 14-8-1 on the road.

Youngstown struck first as Eric Przepiorka scored his team leading 16th of the season at 7:13 to make it 1-0. Louis Dumont scored at 10:22 to make it 1-1 after one period.

In the second period Ryan Held scored an shorthanded goal at 10:23 to make it 2-1 Kings after 40 minutes.

Zach Pearson scored a power play goal at 4:17 of the third period to make it a 3-1 Kings lead. The RiverKings were 1-8 on the power play while Youngstown was 0-6. Mark Johnson try to bring the Hounds back with his third goal of the season with 5:01 to play but Sebastien Centomo stood tall making 31 saves on 33 shots to preserve the win for Mississippi. Andy Franck made 31 saves on 34 shots in his SteelHounds return.

The Hounds have now lost five straight road games to drop to 20-10-2 (42 points) overall and 14-8-1 on the road. The Hounds and Kings will face-off again in Mississippi on Saturday night at 8:05pm. All SteelHounds games are available on ESPN Radio 1240 and SteelHounds.com.
