Intra-Squad Scrimmage to Be Held Wednesday

Johnstown, PA (October 11, 2005) - The Johnstown Chiefs will be playing an intra-squad game on Wednesday, October 12th at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena. Face-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

There will be a minimum $5 per person donation at the game, with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund.

The game will be two, stop time twenty minute periods.

Thursday, October 13th, the Chiefs will play a "home" pre-season game in Greensburg, PA at the Kirk Nevin Ice Arena against the Wheeling Nailers at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are general admission and just $10. Tickets will be available at the door or at the Chiefs office during normal business hours. All proceeds from the pre-season game will go to the Westmoreland Youth Hockey Association.

The 2005-2006 season presented by First National Bank begins on Saturday October 22nd, when the Chiefs host the Reading Royals at 7:30 p.m. Season tickets and sponsorships for the upcoming season are still available by calling the Chiefs office at (814) 539-1799 or 1-800-SLAPSHOT.
