Nailers Release Promotional Schedule

Wheeling, WV - The Wheeling Nailers announced today the release of their promotional schedule for the 2005-2006 hockey season. Highlights this year will include a Youth Jersey giveaway, Terry Virtue Bobblehead night and a special anniversary Nailers Ball Cap giveaway.

The Wheeling Nailers begin the 2005-2006 season on Friday, October 28, 2005 when they play host to the Reading Royals, on "Opening Night Extravaganza/Whiteout Night" sponsored by WesBanco. The evening will include various activities and the first 3,000 fans entering the arena will receive a Wheeling Nailers Rally Towel.

This year the Nailers will have special nights and themed activities that will further enhance the hockey experience overall more enjoyable for the fans of the Ohio Valley. "We are very proud of the promotional schedule we have created this year," stated Rob Brooks, president of the Wheeling Nailers. "For each of our 36 home games this year, fans will be treated to a new and exciting theme or giveaway," Brooks concluded.

Other highlights include two Christian Concerts, special tribute evenings for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates and two T-shirt giveaway evenings.
