Kannapolis Cannon Ballers News Release

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (Aug. 1, 2012) - The Kannapolis Intimidators are shaking up the promotional landscape in the month of August by giving fans a chance to enter to win a free Husqvarna RZ5424 zero-turn riding lawnmower - valued at more than $3,000 - courtesy of Kannapolis Power Equipment. Beginning with the Intimidators next home game on Friday, Aug. 3, fans can purchase raffle tickets, starting at $1 each or six for $5, for a chance to win the mower, the grand prize of this month- long raffle. A portion of the proceeds will go to Communities in Schools.

Raffle tickets are only available at the information booth at Intimidators games during the month of August, and sales will end August 31. The winning tickets will be drawn on Saturday, Sept. 1 as the Intimidators will raffle off several prizes in addition to the riding mower. There is no limit to the number of raffle tickets a fan can purchase, and tickets will be on sale throughout all 15 Intimidators home games in August. Fans must be present to win.

Kannapolis Power Equipment carries top outdoor equipment brands and sells more Husqvarna equipment than any dealer on the East Coast. With stores in two locations - in Kannapolis and Lexington, N.C., the company's factory trained service technicians have a combined 50 years of experience at each location. David Biesecker and Perry Crotts started Lexington Mower Service in a 500-square-foot shop in Davidson County in 1987, performing mower repairs and service. In August of 2011, Lexington Mower opened its Kannapolis store in a 5,000-square- foot renovated building located at 202 N. Cannon Blvd.

The Intimidators return to CMC-NorthEast Stadium on August 3 for a four-game series against the Rome Braves. For ticket information, call the box office at (704) 932-3267 or visit www.IntimidatorsBaseball.com .
