
Inman placed on DL

CHARLESTON, WV (May 27, 2006) - The West Virginia Power, Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers have made another roster move.
Today, right handed pitcher Will Inman was placed on the disabled list and left hander Steve Garrison will take his place on the roster.
Inman was placed on the disabled list, retroactive to May 22nd due to soreness in his right shoulder. Before going on the disabled list, Inman was 3-1 with a 1.80 ERA. The 2005 third rounder from Dry Fork, Virginia was at the top of the league leader board in earned run average on a number of different occasions. No timetable has been set for his return.
Garrison, a tenth round pick in the 2005 draft out of Hun High School in New Jersey joins the power from extended spring training. Garrison went 2-2 with two saves and a 2.86 ERA with the Arizona Brewers last season.
The Power will begin a four game series against the Lakewood BlueClaws at Appalachian Power Park on Friday night. Lakewood will start left hander Matt Maloney (4-4, 2.01) and the Power will counter with right hander Matt Kretzschmar (0-1, 8.53). The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
