Savannah Sand Gnats News Release
SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Sand Gnats Saturday night game against the Charleston RiverDogs was cancelled after a brief hailstorm hit less than two hours before the game. The field was unplayable due to standing water in left field and near home plate. The game will be made up as part of a 5:05 p.m. doubleheader on Monday. The Memorial Day twin bill will feature post-game fireworks sponsored by Hargray. Fans with tickets to Saturday night's game can reuse the tickets for any other Sand Gnats home game at Historic Grayson Stadium this season.
The two teams are still set for a 2:05 p.m. contest Sunday afternoon. Sunday will be Family Fun Day presented by the Savannah Morning News. After the game children can run the bases and get player autographs. For tickets and a complete schedule visit www.sandgnats.com or call the Sand Gnats offices at 912-351-9150.
