Hagerstown;MD, The Delmarva Shorebirds defeated the Suns 12-1 on Friday night, scoring 11 unanswered runs in the last 3 innings. RF Arturo Rivas hit a grand-slam deep to right to put a stamp on a 7-run 9th inning.
The Suns hit the road for Hickory to start a 4-game series. They will return home for a Thirsty Thursday sponsored by Twigg Cycles and 104.7fm WAYZ on Thursday June 1 against Lexington.
