Initial Preparation Work Begins for Aud Expansion Project 2012

Stage one work has commenced at 400 East Avenue as The Aud Expansion Project 2012 got underway Wednesday, January 11, 2012.

Follow the construction of the expanded seating, new concourses, media areas, concessions and washrooms, dressing room, medical and training facilities, administrative office space and new heating and cooling system to improve fan comfort and ice quality as we post regular updates including photographs or video.

STAGE ONE Installation of the underground water pipes started Wednesday, January 11th and is expected to be completed Friday, January 13th in order to avoid any conflict with the Rangers game scheduled for 7:30pm against the Plymouth Whalers.

STAGE TWO Connection of the new water source and disconnection of the current water source is scheduled for the weekend of January 21st while the Rangers are on their Eastern road swing to Kingston, Bellville and Ottawa.

The Rangers office, dressing room and medical facilities will be re-located to Sportsworld effective February 13, 2012. The Rangers will use Sportsworld as a practice facility and administrative centre until returning to The Aud in September 2012.
