We'll be sending more information to you about a special event and update on the Sun Life Financial Kids In Gear program at the Aud on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Sun Life Financial Kids In Gear program Sun Life Financial is the official sponsor of the Kids In Gear program. Originally launched in August 2010, this initiative supports efforts to collect and buy hockey equipment for kids in the Waterloo region who may not have the funds to get involved in hockey. Used equipment is collected and sold to a local sports store for credits towards the purchase of new equipment for the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association's (KMHA) Donna's Kids Program. The program also provides financial support to help kids pay the fees so they can play hockey. The Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club partners with Sun Life to help promote this program throughout the year.
