INDIANAPOLIS - Indy Eleven is proud to welcome veteran sports broadcaster Fernando Fiore to the Circle City in conjunction with the club's annual Hispanic Heritage Night celebrations being held on Saturday, September 14.
The visit to Indianapolis by "El Presidente" will include appearances at Indy Eleven's Youth Soccer Clinic at the International School of Indiana, La Plaza's Fiesta Celebration downtown on Georgia Street and Indy Eleven's match at Lucas Oil Stadium against Bethlehem Steel (7:00 p.m., tickets available at www.indyeleven.com/tickets).
Full details on Fiore's appearances to the public will be updated in the coming days at www.indyeleven.com/promotions. An Emmy Award-winning broadcaster, Fiore currently serves as a personality for both FOX Sports and beIN SPORTS. The Argentinean-born Fiore has been a staple on the FOX Network's portfolio of elite, world-class soccer events as a co-host and commentator since 2016, including the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup France, 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2016 Copa America Centenario. Fiore's visit to Indy will come just a week after FS1's coverage of the latest installment of the rivalry between the United States and Mexican Men's National Teams, set to take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., this Friday, Sept. 6.
Fiore began his broadcasting career with Telemundo before moving on to Univision, where he was the longtime host of "Republica Deportiva," the network's flagship weekly sports program.
