Adam Jahn Named to USL Championship Team of the Week

PHOENIX - Phoenix Rising forward Adam Jahn was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 26 of the 2019 USL Championship season the league announced today. Rising captain Solomon Asante earned an honorable mention nod.

Jahn tallied a combined three goals in Rising FC's two wins this week (4-2 over Tacoma Defiance and 3-0 over Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC) while Asante added two goals of his own in addition to two assists (both on Jahn goals).

This is the 19th week overall this season a Phoenix Rising player has been recognized by the league. Jahn has made a team of the week or earned an honorable mention four times this season. This is the tenth time for Asante.

Phoenix Rising returns to Casino Arizona Field this Saturday against San Antonio FC. The match will air live on Your PHX CW (channels 6 & 61.1) and online at ArizonaSports.com with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. The first 1,500 fans will receive a $5 gift card from Dutch Bros. Coffee.
