Indians' Web Site Goes Mobile

INDIANAPOLIS --Indianapolis Indians fans, no matter where they are this season, will be able to follow the Tribe at any time thanks to the launch of the team's mobile Web site: www.IndyIndians.com.

The mobile site includes many of the same features available on IndyIndians.com, including live scores, news, schedules, statistics and standings, team rosters and player bios. To access the mobile site, fans just need to enter www.IndyIndians.com into their web-enabled wireless devices, browse and enjoy.

The Minor League Baseball network of sites (MiLB.com) has also been re-designed this season to include several new features, such as an expanded game center with live in-game scoring and player information; upcoming schedule and promotional news for every club; areas dedicated to the latest video content and highlights; and one-click access to social media platforms that gives fans the opportunity to directly connect with their team, as well as other fans.

MiLB.tv video streaming and free MiLB Gameday audio streaming are two other ways that people can follow the Tribe during the 2010 season at IndyIndians.com.

The Indians open the 2010 home schedule on Friday, April 16 at Victory Field against their division rivals the Toledo Mud Hens at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at www.IndyIndians.com or by calling the Victory Field Box Office at 317-269-3545.

The Indianapolis Indians are celebrating their 15th season at Victory Field. In each of the 15 days leading up to the 2010 home opener, the Indians will unveil something new at Victory Field this season. The Indianapolis Indians home opener is scheduled for Friday, April 16th at 7:15 p.m. against the division-rival Toledo Mud Hens.
