Indians Return To Victory Field On Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians open a five-game homestand on Saturday when Toledo comes to Victory Field for a 7 p.m. contest. The stretch continues through Aug. 15 as the Tribe squares off with the Mud Hens (Aug. 11-12) and Louisville Bats (Aug. 13-15).

Sat., Aug. 11 -- Toledo @ 7:00 p.m.

Pirate Parrot Appearance (picture above) -- Pittsburgh's official mascot, the Pirate Parrot, stops by Victory Field to entertain fans of all ages. The Parrot will be available for autographs and photos during the game.

Pre-Game Christian Concert -- Christian rock artist, Jason Patchett, will perform in the center-field plaza at 4:30 p.m.

Sun., Aug. 12 -- Toledo @ 2:00 p.m.

Rowdie Night Light Giveaway -- It's a Souvenir Sunday at Victory Field as the first 4,000 fans receive a Rowdie Night Light courtesy of WTHR-Ch. 13 and Cardinal Fitness. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.

Emerson Drive Appearance -- Country music group, Emerson Drive, will sing the National Anthem, perform the Seventh-Inning Stretch and participate in a meet & greet session during the game.

Knot Hole Run -- Members of the WISH-TV/Indians Knot Hole Club are invited to run the bases after the game.

Mon., Aug. 13 -- Louisville @ 7:00 p.m.

Monday Dollar Menu -- Hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jack and potato chips will be available for just $1 each.

Tues., Aug. 14 -- Louisville @ 7:00 p.m.

Indiana Education Savings Night -- Buy-One, Get-One-Free coupons are available through the Indiana Education Savings Authority. For more information, call 317-232-5259.

Wed., Aug. 15 -- Louisville @ 2:00 p.m.

Business Day Game -- Bring your co-workers out to Victory Field for the special 2 p.m. contest, which is presented by Fast Signs.
