Toledo Welcomes Back 1967 Championship Team For Reunion Weekend

The Toledo Mud Hens are pleased to welcome back members of the 1967 Governors' Cup Championship team in a fun-filled, celebratory weekend from Friday, August 17-Sunday, August 19. Fans can interact with the former Mud Hens throughout the weekend as Toledo remembers its first Governors' Cup Championship team. The Mud Hens will be hosting the Columbus Clippers in a three-game series that weekend, the same team the 1967 Hens defeated to win the Championship.
Highlighted events during the weekend include:
Friday, August 17th:
- Toledo Mud Hens versus Columbus Clippers game at 7 p.m.
- 1967 Championship players autograph session during the game (4th inning)
- Post-game fireworks show
Saturday, August 18th:
- Pre-game on-field introduction ceremony with the '67 Champs and Jersey Presentation
- Toledo Mud Hens versus Columbus Clippers game at 7 p.m.
- 1967 Championship players autograph session during the game (4th inning)
- 1967 Throwback Style Jersey silent auction during the game (to benefit United Way of Greater Toledo)
- Post-game fireworks show
