
Indians Drop Series Finale to Dust Devils

Spokane, WA-The Tri-City Dust Devils came out swinging Wednesday night and didn't stop on their way to a 13-2 win in the finale of the three game series at Avista Stadium. Despite the loss, the Indians still won the series two games to one.
The Dust Devils offense was led by Tyler Massey and Jordan Ribera, who combined for three home runs and 11 RBI's in Tri-City's biggest scoring outburst of the season.
Spokane's potent lineup was held at bay by Tri-City's Nelson Gonzalez (2-0), who picked up the win with six scoreless innings of relief. Zach Cone collected two RBI's with a double to left in the 3rd, and Brett Nicholas, Guillermo Pimentel, Trever Adams, Carson Vitale, and Ruben Sierra all had hits in the loss.
Lefty Will Lamb struck out four Dust Devils hitters in two innings of work and flamethrower Carlos Melo got back on track with five strikeouts in the eighth and ninth.
