PAWTUCKET, RI - Rhode Island-native Dan Gamache hit a two-run home run in a six-run fourth inning as the Indianapolis Indians toppled the Pawtucket Red Sox on Sunday evening, 8-2. The win gives the Tribe a 4-2 road trip and a series win against the PawSox.

Indianapolis (25-23) hit three home runs, including two in the fourth inning. Josh Bell led off the frame with a double, and one batter later Gamache smacked his first career Triple-A home run to left field. Danny Ortiz would also homer in the inning, and Adam Frazier capped the frame with a two-run single. The Indians led 7-1 after four innings of play.

Bell, who batted .478 on the road trip, collected three hits and hit his fifth home run of the season in the eighth inning for an insurance run.

Jameson Taillon (4-2) kept the Pawtucket bats quiet and dominated for six innings to earn the victory. He allowed just one run on three hits, and did not walk a batter. In 55.1 innings this season, Taillon has issued just five walks.

PawSox (24-26) starter Keith Couch (0-2) was chased from the game by the Tribe in the fourth and he received the loss.

The club returns home for Memorial Day on Monday evening, and first pitch is set for 6:05 p.m. A special fireworks show will follow the game, and the Tribe will wear camouflage jerseys in honor of the holiday. The jerseys will be auctioned off throughout the game.
