Albuquerque Isotopes News Release
July 4th promises to be an electric evening at Isotopes Park as reserved seating has already been sold out for the game, prompting the Albuquerque Isotopes to place berm seating on sale 10 days prior to the holiday.
Berm seating, which costs just $5 a ticket, still remains for a night of great Isotopes baseball followed by a spectacular post-game fireworks display courtesy of First State Bank and KASA Fox 2. Fans sitting on the berm are permitted to bring blankets on which to sit; however lawn chairs are not permitted into Isotopes Park.
Berm tickets are on-sale only in person exclusively at the Isotopes Park Box Office. The stadium is located at 1601 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE at the intersection of University Blvd.
Last season, the club set its current franchise high during an Independence Day celebration on July 3, welcoming 13,501 to The Lab for a sold-out game against Colorado Springs. The fourth highest attendance in team history also occurred on Independence Day, July 3, 2003 when 13,100 fans attended the âTopes' tilt against Omaha.
Already this season Albuquerque has logged a top-five crowd when 13,210, third highest in club history, attended the Isotopes' June 11 game against Round Rock.
The big July 4th will only augment a season that has been successful for the âTopes at the turnstiles. Through it's first 39 home games played this year, Albuquerque has drawn a total of 287,762 fans for an average of 7,379 a game. That's up from last year at the same time when the Isotopes welcomed 286,995 to Isotopes Park, an average of 7,359.
In addition to the Independence Day holiday celebration, the âTopes next homestand, eight games beginning on July 4 and continuing through July 10 will feature two cheerstix giveaways, a mini-bat giveaway, an appearance by the Zooperstars!, as well as free sport bags and baseball maracas. Tickets for all Isotopes games can be purchased at Isotopes Park, home of the 2007 Triple-A All-Star Game, at 1601 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE or at any Ticketmaster outlet, www.ticketmaster.com, or Ticketmaster by Phone at (505) 883-7800. Keep up with all of the Isotopes' great promotions throughout the year at www.albuquerquebaseball.com. For more information, contact the Isotopes at (505) 924-2255.
