Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza Kicks Off Grizzlies' 7-Game Homestand

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies will start a seven-game homestand on the Fourth of July holiday, kicking off one of the biggest homestands of the season. The Grizzlies will face Highway 99 rivals, the Sacramento River Cats, from July 4-7 and match up against the Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, from July 8-10.

The Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, ABC 30 and 105.1 FM "The Blaze," on Thursday, July 4th starts the four-game series against Sacramento. The Drag Kings, also presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, will give a special performance. The Grizzlies will also host the ALS Foundation to help raise awareness for the disease.

On July 5th, it's Farm Grown Friday, with a Farmer's Market located on the concourse and the second postgame fireworks show in as many days. The Farm Grown Friday is also Military Appreciation Night, presented by PG&E. The Grizzlies will wear military theme jerseys, which will be auctioned off during and after the game to benefit the USO, Wounded Warrior Project, Honor Flight Network, and the Fresno Grizzlies Community Fund.

Saturday, July 6th is the Will Clark Farm Grown bobblehead giveaway for the first 2,000 general admission fans. The bobblehead, which is the third figurine in the four-part Farm Grown bobblehead series, shows "The Thrill" in his Fresno Giants uniform, representing his time playing for the Giants' Single-A affiliate in 1985. Gates open at 6:05 pm for general admission. First pitch is 7:05 pm.

Alexandria DeBerry, who plays Paisley Houndstooth on Disney Channel's "A.N.T. Farm," will appear at the Grizzlies' Sunday, July 7th game. The television star will sign autographs and take pictures with fans on the concourse during the game. Fans can also purchase a special ticket package for a pre-game meet-and-greet with DeBerry. Also on July 7th, there will be the Stauffer's Animal Crackers Pre-game Parade for kids 12 and under, as well as Future Giants and Parker Autograph Session and Family Catch On The Field before the game. Afterwards, Kids Run The Bases, presented by popchips. First pitch for Sunday is at 6:05 pm. The first game of the three-game set against Reno is Monday, July 8th. It is Monday Madness, presented by ABC 30 and Wild Water Adventure Park, where fans can purchase the ultimate summer deal. Fans can get 2 Field Level Reserved tickets, 2 hot dogs, 2 sodas, 2 Wild Water Adventure Park passes and 2 Blackbeard's mini golf passes for just $32. The Monday Madness ticket deal is only available on the day of the game and by calling (559) 320-TIXS or visiting the Chukchansi Park Box Office. First pitch is 7:05 pm.

Tuesday, July 9th is 2 For Tuesday. Fans can purchase two Field Box tickets for the price of one ($19 total for the two tickets). Also, hot dogs, sodas, and bags of popchips are $2 each through the fourth inning of the 7:05 pm game.

The last homestand before the All-Star Break wraps up with Kid-A-Palooza on Wednesday, July 10th. Super Why from Valley PBS will take pictures with fans on the concourse during the game, presented by Wawona Frozen Foods. For all fans, Wienerschnitzel hot dogs are 25 cents through the fifth inning. There will also be free ice cream, presented by Dreyers. A special Kids Run The Bases will be held after the 7:05 pm game, presented by popchips.

July 10th is also Everybody Wins-Day and Wine Glass Wednesday. The value-packed Wednesday ticket deal, presented by The Fresno Bee, includes 2 Super View tickets, 2 Fresno Chaffee Zoo passes, 2 Jamba Juice vouchers, 2 RaceRoom @ River Park passes, and 2 John's Incredible Pizza Company vouchers for just $26.
