BOISE, Idaho - Portland Trail Blazers assignee Luke Babbitt had a game-high 23 points and 14 rebounds, but the Idaho Stampede shot 36.0 percent from the floor, just 17.4 percent (4-of-23) from the three-point line and had 21 turnovers in a 105-92 loss to the Bakersfield Jam (25-15) Friday night at Qwest Arena. Idaho (17-23) made just 26-of-39 free throws.

Carlos Wheeler had 18 points and nine rebounds and Jermareo Davdison had 12 points and eight rebounds as the Stampede outrebounded the Jam 56-45. The Jam made 38-of-42 (90.5 percent) free throws and outscored Idaho 38-29 in the final quarter.

Willie Warren scored 21 points (12-13 FT) and Trey Johnson added 12 (10-12 FT) for Bakersfield. Fellow guards Jeremy Wise and Stephen Dennis had 16 points and 11 points, respectively.

Antoine Walker added nine points and nine rebounds, while Willie Jenkins had six points, DeSean Hadley had five points and Seth Tarver added five off the bench.

The Stampede play Bakersfield tomorrow at 7 p.m. to finish up the season series.
