
IceHogs to Host Military Appreciation Night on Saturday

Time: 7 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Giveaway/Promotion: The IceHogs will pay tribute to all armed service personnel with Military Appreciation Night when the Milwaukee Admirals come to town. The first 1,500 fans will receive bomber hats compliments of Pepsi.
The IceHogs are offering all active and former military personnel a free ticket with valid ID, along with discounted tickets for additional family and friends.
The United States Air Force will bring two large vehicles to the game which will be on display outside the box office. The Air Force will also have tables by the Blue Flame Lounge in the main concourse where fans can participate in a pull-up contest, try on military gear, and enter to win giveaways. The national anthem will feature a large American flag and 35 recruits will be sworn in on the ice during the game's first intermission.
5th Annual "Have a Skate with Bob": Fans with a ticket to the game are welcome to attend a set of charity games put on by the "Have a Skate with Bob Foundation" at 1 p.m. The 5th annual installment of the event will feature players from throughout the Midwest to raise money towards pancreatic cancer research. There will be a silent auction during the IceHogs game behind Section 104 featuring memorabilia with proceeds going toward charities.
Matchup: The IceHogs play their second game in two nights after traveling to Grand Rapids to take on the Griffins on Friday. The contest will be the second of the season against Milwaukee after the IceHogs beat the Admirals on the road on Oct. 24 in a 4-2 decision. Rockford will look to improve upon their 46-36-3-4 all-time record versus their Central Division opponent.
