Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA - The St. John's IceCaps surrendered four second-period goals in a 5-2 setback to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Wednesday night at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA.

Michael McCarron, with his team-leading sixth goal and Christian Thomas with his fifth, scored for St. John's. Tom Kuhnhackl sniped twice for the Penguins, while ex-IceCap Will O'Neill contributed three, second-period assists.
