
IceHogs Raise over $40,000 During 14th Annual Jersey Auction

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs hosted their 14th Annual Jersey Auction for charity on Sunday following their game against the Peoria Rivermen. IceHogs fans helped the Hogs raise $41,255. The IceHogs and their generous fans have now helped raise $655,014 for charity with the club's 14 auctions dating back to the 1999-2000 season.
All proceeds from this year's auction will go to the IceHogs Charitable Foundation. The IceHogs Charitable Foundation will in return, distribute the proceeds to several not-for-profit organizations in the Rock River Valley including, but not limited to MDA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Rockford area Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Jr. IceHogs and others.

Next Home Game: Friday, April 12 vs. Chicago Wolves at 7:05 p.m. It's Fan Appreciation Night as Rockford hosts the Chicago Wolves in an Illinois Lottery Cup matchup and for the final home game of the regular season. The first 2,500 fans through the turnstiles will pick up an IceHogs team photo and prizes will be handed out at every whistle.
