Flames Recall Sven Baertschi from Abbotsford

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled Sven Baertschi from the Abbotsford Heat.

Baertschi started the 2012-13 season with Abbotsford playing 21 games, recording 18 points from six goals and 12 assists before joining the Flames for the start of the NHL season. He suffered a hip flexor injury that forced him to miss 11 games, but still played 10 games registering one assist before rejoining the Heat. He had four goals and three assists in 10 games with Abbotsford during his second stint. Baertschi was Calgary's first round selection, 13th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
