Des Moines, IA - The Rockford IceHogs travel to Des Moines, IA to take on the Iowa Wild at the Wells Fargo Arena at 7 p.m. Tonight's game is the final leg in the IceHogs' stretch of eight games in eight different cities.

Sorensen's Historic Win - Anders Sorensen earned his first NHL win with the Blackhawks on Monday with a 2-1 win over the New York Rangers. Sorensen was named the Blackhawks interim head coach last Thursday. With the win in Madison Square Garden, Sorensen became the first Swedish-born coach to record a win in the NHL. Sorensen is in his 11th season with the Chicago Blackhawks organization and is a member of the Illinois Hockey Hall of Fame.

Guttman's Hot December Start - IceHogs forward Cole Guttman begins December with five points in four games. The California native is coming off a 40 point performance in the 2023-24 season with Rockford. Guttman is third in team scoring with 16 points (9G,7A) this season and has five multi-point games. The former Tampa Bay Lighting draft pick has played 99 games as an IceHog.

Pair of IceHogs Called Up - The Blackhawks announced roster moves Sunday afternoon, calling up defenseman Kevin Korchinski and goaltender Drew Commesso. Korchinski made his season debut with Chicago on Monday in the Blackhawks 2-1 win over the Rangers. The 2022 7th overall pick has 11 points (2G,9A) in 21 games with Rockford. With Blackhawks goalie Petr Mrazek placed on injured reserve, Commesso will backup Arvid Soderblom.

Scouting the Opponent - The Wild are coming off a two-game sweep of the Milwaukee Admirals last weekend in Des Moines. Iowa's top scorer Ben Jones (4G,8A) was recalled by Minnesota in November after skating in 14 games with Iowa. Michael Milne, Brendan Gaunce, and Travis Boyd all are tied for second in scoring with 11 points. The Wild took the first matchup of the season with a 6-3 win over Rockford. The IceHogs and Wild will face-off five times in the month of December.

Teddy Bear Toss- An annual fan-favorite Rockford IceHogs tradition returns on Saturday, December 14 when the Teddy Bear Toss will invade the BMO Center for the IceHogs 7 p.m. game against the Iowa Wild. The IceHogs have added a Teddy Bear Toss themed jersey that fans can bid on via DASH.
