
IceHogs close out week 15 against Grand Rapids

Rockford, Ill.- The injury bug continues to make its way through the Rockford IceHogs locker room and tonight the IceHogs will be without winger Jack Skille as the American Hockey League club faces-off against the Grand Rapids Griffins at 7:05 p.m. at the Rockford MetroCentre.
Skille was injured in Friday night's 3-1 loss to the Chicago Wolves and is out at least a week with an upper body injury. The IceHogs will also be without the services of team captain Tim Brent, Bryan Bickell and Jordan Hendry.
Tonight's game is the fifth of a season high six-game homes stand. Rockford and Grand Rapids will close out the home stand on Monday afternoon and the IceHogs are 2-2-0-0 through the first four games.
In their only other meeting this season, Rockford battled back to earn a shootout point in Grand Rapids on Jan. 7 after being down 5-2 after the first period. The two clubs will meet four times overall in 2008-09 with the final meeting coming on March 4 in Grand Rapids.
