
IceDogs Take Shootout Win

Tonight, the Niagara IceDogs were back on the road, facing off against the Oshawa Generals.
The IceDogs got off to a hot start with Cooke tallying 2, and Michaud, Waddick and Agostinelli each picking up a goal. Oshawa was able to get 1.
After 20 minutes of play, the IceDogs led 5-1.
The Generals got one early in the second, but Niagara quickly responded with Gushchin scoring just over a minute later.
After 40 minutes, the IceDogs led 6-2.
The generals made a push in the third, scoring 5 goals. Dionicio tallied his 6th of the season. Making it 7-7 after 60 minutes.
The game was forced into overtime, which solved nothing, so it went to shootouts.
IceDogs shot second, and Gushchin kept the Dogs in it. Goaltender, Joey Costanzo, stood on his head to give Copeland the chance to secure the IceDogs win!
