
IceDogs Fall to Oshawa on Family Day

Today, the Niagara IceDogs were on the road facing off against the Oshawa Generals.
The Generals opened up the scoring, getting 1 late in the first, making it 1-0 after 20 minutes of play.
Oshawa scored another 2 early in the second, one of which was on their power play. A 5 minute major given to the Dogs gave the Generals the chance to extend their lead to 5-0. Dylan Roobroeck put the Dogs on the board, getting his 6th of the season. However, Oshawa was able to get 1 back quickly after.
After 40 minutes, the score sat at 6-1.
The Generals tallied another 2 in the final period. Danil Gushchin was able to get 1 back for the Dogs, marking his 29th of the season.
Ultimately, Oshawa took the win 8-2.
